The recommended operation specifications for the 2200 Series of Single-Passage Rotary Unions in American Units is for a Maximum Air Pressure of 200 PSI, a Maximum Vacuum of 28" Hg, Hydraulic Pressure of 5000 PSI, a Maximum Temperature of 400 Degrees Fahrenheit and a Maximum Speed of 400 RPM.
Metric Units would be a Maximum Air Pressure of 14 bar, Maximum Vacuum of 90 kPa, Maximum Hydraulic Pressure of 344 bar, Maximum Temperature of 200 Degrees Celsius and a Maximum Speed of 400 RPM. To prolong the life of the single passage rotary union, it is recommended to avoid operating at both Maximum Pressure and Maximum Speed at the same time.
All Single-Passage Rotary Unions in the 2200 Series are available with options such as NPT, BSP, SAE or Metric Threads, Right- or Left-Hand Thread on Rotor. You have a choice of a Steel Rotor with either an Aluminum or Steel Housing. All Stainless Steel Construction, to provide outstanding corrosive deterrent, is available upon request.
